Welcome to Art to Harmony.
.Thank you for visiting our website. Our site was totally disfunctional for a few years, but thanks to our nephew Gary Harding, it has been revitalized it so that we can present our glass art once again.
We specialize in one-of-a-kind pieces of glass art and show only representative pieces on our website rather than our current inventory. If you are interested in a particular piece but want it in different colors or shapes than we show, or even function (a clock rather than a bowl for example), contact us describing what you would like. We will explore the options with you (via phone and/or email) that could meet your desires or needs. Our phone # is 541-797-6890. Bob’s email is [email protected].
Thank you for your interest.
Down below is our “latest” WHAT’S NEW. It will be updated later in December. The most current news that will be shared is the status of our Glass Fusion classes, and the development of Mirror and Light Fixture pieces
Finally Set Up!
We blew into Bend, Oregon… literally…on 14 April encountering a blinding snow storm the last half hour of our driving trip from Seattle where we landed and picked up our car. What a sobering welcome for us folks from Maui!! We hadn’t seen the white stuff up close and personal for many years, and driving in it was definitely nerve wracking. But here we are four months later, all moved into our new home in Bend.
It has taken us this long to unpack the 500+ boxes and to set up our glass studio. But, I can say we are finally up and running… and hooray, our kiln survived the 3000 mile trip. We have actually done a few firings… Drop Pots specifically… to exercise the kiln in the most stressful firing sequence. A couple of them are shown in the attached photos. These will be slumped into bowls.
We are very excited as we embark on introducing ourselves to local galleries and becoming part of the talented artist community of Bend and the surrounding towns in our new state of Oregon. We will be developing motifs representative of the natural beauty of Central Oregon to include in our glass art, just as we did in Maui. As we do, we will update you as to what we’ve developed and where we are showing.
Warmest Aloha…….. Sandy & Bob
